hey becca and PVP

sTs Athletic Training Center
19407 NW 94th Ave - Alachua, Florida 32615
David F. Johnston.. CEO

We are "breaking ground" for my training center in Gainesville.

Grand Opening is Scheduled for Saturday, September 1st....

Pits and Runways will be finished and set up as soon as i return form the Camp in Columbia, South Carolina next week.

The "playground" is going to be awesome...

We have 6 acres... and half of that will be for training..

There will be Pole Vault of course with runways going in 5 directions..

Plus we will have:

1. Four 42" Sprint/Hurdle running lanes 70 meters long.
2. Two running lanes 130 meters long for Up/Down hill and sled pulling work.
3. Long Jump/Triple Jump Pits on 2 ends of the longest Pole Vault runway.
4. Throwing circles for Shot, Discus and Hammer.
5. Javelin Sector.
6. High Jump
7. Pool, Trampoline, Highbar, Rope and a cable system to help teach the Plant properly and safely.
8. A grass "jogging" trail around the property.

..............and anything else i can think of to assist athletes in becoming better.

We will be conducting business under the name of my sTs Athletic Club, with camps, clinics and Members training on a daily basis. A web site is under construction.

yep :D

there is a lot to mow..

mowed most of yesterday.. and after the dirt work today
we will closecut the throws and near the runways and bushhog the rest..

thanks for the support and i hope i can start producing a little of the same quality you have...

my philosophy is... "the opportunity is here for any track athlete to come and learn" and i have an open door...

(plus i get to play)

dj

ps.. i also have another motivation for the training center............ my brother has challenged me to get the indoor and outdoor world record for the 60-65 year old 55/100 meter hurdles... i've gotta crank it up...
