bubka's poles

bubka's poles

does anyone know the length and the weight of his bigger poles?

down at bell's they had one of his poles....I think it was a 17'3" Pacer III, I dont remember the flex tho but it was less than 10 I think

The UCS website says that they were 5.20s 220 lbs test flex...

I've heard the number 10.3... but I don't know that its accurate

a 5.20, around 10.2 was Bubka's largest pole.

Back in the 80's, Miroslaw Chmara from Poland had a custom series of 5.35s topping out at a 9.6 or so. Those were big poles.

5.35/9.6 is disgusting huge.

any one know the size of Mack, Stevenson, or Walkers poles? just for compairison?

I was looking at some of Hartwig's poles down at Bell's and I remeber the flex of one was 9.6, but I don't remember the length...

When Toby jumped 600 at Modesto I think he was on a 510/12.6
