Updates on Mondo Duplantis and siblings

VaultPurple is noting that Greg was short (5'6" in his prime, I believe), and he's wondering if Helena (or any of her ancestors) brings "tallness" to the Duplantis clan. I've seen Monte's WR vaults on vid, but he's so young it's hard for me to judge if he's short or tall for his age.

As a general rule, Vikings were tall. (I was a 6-0 Viking. Not THAT tall, but taller than a Cajun!)

My grandson is in the 97th percentile of babies of the same age, so I have high hopes for him. Mind you, he's not even 1 yr old yet.

So we're wondering how tall the D Bros and Johanna will be as adults?

This is all based on the premise that taller vaulters have an advantage over shorter vaulters.

The D Bros appear to all be at about 50 percentile height,not greg short or viking tall. Johanna is slightly above 50%. We'll see.

Fantastic! How long does she have left to vault her age?

Not that that will be easy, since that's a 17% increase in crossbar height.

So more realistically, how long does she have left to try to jump 7' at age 7?
