USATF Holiday Classic - Stuczynski 4.58

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Sat Dec 30, 2006 5:49 pm

Jenn Stuczynski jumped 15' 1/4 (4.58m) on her first attempt to break the RIT field house record in the USATF Holiday Classic. This is the 12th 15' clearance of 2006 for Stuczynski. Coach Suhr commented, "We are very happy with the improvements we made in the off season. We boomed 15' by a lot and things are really starting to come together. We clearly are ahead of where we were last year."

December 31, 2005 -- American Women's Pole Vault Record Attemped

Jenn Stuczynski attemped Stacy Dragila's US pole vault record today indoors after clearing 4.58m(15'0") clean at the USATF Rochester Indoor Holiday Classic. Suczynski and Suhr elected to go to the American record due to a good week of practice, where Stuczynski cleared 4.70m several times earlier this week. This vault ranks Jenn number one in the US. Last year no American woman cleared 15'0" indoors. Stuczysnki only attempted the American Record one time in a close attempt, then stopped jumping. Meet photos to follow.

She made 15' by a good margin! She looked great on all of her jumps!
