Altius out of the loop.

If anyone is interested, Altius will be out of the loop for the next ten weeks. Heading to Britain first to lead pole vault clinics in Birmingham, Engand and Edinburgh, Scotland, and to catch up with old friends. Then three weeks skiing in France with the extended family; a week in Orlando taking the grandkids to DWorld and then heading for Reno - where he hopes to catch up with as many contributors to this forum as possible - preferably over a glass of wine or a beer. ;) :D :)

Altius- could i get information on the polevault clinics in Britain? I'm at Univ. of Exeter in England, polevaulting for the track team, and have been looking for polevault-specific coaching help. I have housing available in Edinburgh, and could prob. find a place in Birmingham. 'Cheers!'

I should be heading down to the one in Birmingham on December 10th. Not sure if its invite only or anyone can go, my advice would be to try and contact Dave Young or Peter Sutcliffe to find out more details. You should be able to get at least one of their contact details off of the UKA website.

I'll keep looking- I checked out UKA's website under getting involved for pole vault:

http://www.ukathletics.net/vsite/vnavsi ... st,00.html

and found it to be empty.

Try Dave Young on o77 185 263 55. He has details of Birmingham and could give you contact for Edinburgh. ;)
