Ah there will be a twin jock jump in norman oklahoma next year. Only well have to call it somehting different and wear something different so as not to take away from the tradition at florida. I'll introduce the big 12 to jock jumping and who knows we might even start franchizing it out. ;)

### If there was a jump off for 2nd place, the first height would have been set to 5.00m. After that, the height would either have been set to 5.05m or 4.96m as 5cm is the interval used for jump-offs.

Well brandon would have gone, to worlds, unless rademacher would have beat him at 5.10 or better, because rademacher would have had to clear 5.10 to make it.
i think before my days are done.

I believe the world standards for women is 3.90 wich is 12 feet 9 1/2
and that Whitney Johnson who finished third has jumped 12-10
so she would be the alternate.

I would think that too, but I guess she didn't jump it in time or something because I was named alternate

Maybe Britney's height was measured by a certified official and Whitney's wasn't? It could also have been because one already has a passport and the other doesn't? We may never know for sure.

It might be because after 2nd place they took the highest qualifying height of the two...not necessarily where they placed in that meet?
That's Jodie!!

A scripture that makes me think of all you girls and guys pole vaulting....

Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

One of the officials would have to answer that one, but I believe they go with the next place finisher who has met the qualifying mark and not who has the highest mark.
