is there a way to change the view so you always look at the post recent post, instead of the oldest first, i know you can change it but it only changes that one time

By default it should be displaying the most recent posts first.

If you want to see the most recent posts for the whole board, click on "View posts since last visit" when you first log in. It is on the right hand side, just under "Ads by Google"

Oh wait I see, you mean the posts within a specific thread.

To go to the new posts right away, click on the little orange thing that is right next to the arrow at the beginning of the title of the thread.
