That was quite the finish to steal the Gold from Lavillinie. Amazing jump! I've never seen a guy flag off the top and still jump 6.0 meters. I wonder what his grip was on that jump?
RL had lot's of hip ht on 6.03 shows lots more to come.

Upsets do happen in sport, Renaud has a medal, he should ask Asbel Kiprop if he is pleased with his 6th place,
and Renaud should be immune to booing.
I hope we will hear more from Silva than we have heard from Lazaro Borges and Pawel Wojciechowski since Daegu 2011 :-)

It was in response to the lengthy rambling advertisement I received twice for some foreign medical treatment. All in some unknown to me language. Maddening !! Had nothing to do with Vaulting. Sorry. Lawrence
