Readers may be interested in to learn that 12 year old Liz Parnov cleared a pr 3.64m to win the Australian Schools Under 15 pole vault title on Thursday Dec.7th. Older sister Vickie - bronze medallist at the 06 World Juniors -finished second in a countback at 3.80m in the Under 17 event. :idea: :yes:

There was some pretty good vaulting with alot of potential from other athletes aswell over the weekend. Liz parnovs vaults were amazing. They seem to be getting younger and younger these days.

Wow that is 2 cm away from 12 feet at 12 years of age! For a girl!

I think ages 11-14 would probably be the easiest time for a girl to jump their age, as they are still similar in build to the boys, or even physically ahead of boys their age.

I would love to see video.

There were a few coaches there with video cameras.
