When I saw him in NY (granted I was looking head on and not from the side) his run look a bit out of control at the very end. Lavillenie's looked much tighter and his pole drop matched up well with his acceleration. I think Hooker's problems are in the end of his run and his plant, he was inside a lot that day and from the videos I have he didn't seem to have completed his plant by the time the pole hit the back of the box. I'd bet that's why he's inconsistent
