Bend man masters pole vault at state

GRESHAM - Jack Cleveland of Bend broke another record in the pole vault this week at the Oregon State Games Oregon Track and Field Championships, staged July 9 at Mt. Hood Community College in Clackamas.
The 81-year-old broke the 80-85 age group meet record with a vault of 7 feet, 6 inches.
