In Deca at end of day one Ken sits 6th less than 200 points out of first - what makes this interesting is the pole vault will be the big swing event - Ken will beat some of these guys by 3 to 4 feet if he vaults well - could easily be a 300 pt swing - he is also a very good hurdler - solid in the other three -

Ken is up to third after hurdles - Mike J. of US is fifth - he is huge Jav guy -

Ken is currently 2nd after discus - 80 pts back going into the vault - Russel J-A from the Seattle area is in the Hunt in the M50 - was third - more to come - Doug Porter looks like he will get Silver in M40
