Actually, the currently accepted rule of thumb is 10lbs per 6 inches, so every 6 inches down is approx. 10lbs stiffer. So on the Nordic 14' 170, 6 inches/ 15cm down would make it the equivalent of a 13' 6 4.15 180, 1 foot or 30cm down would make it the equivalent of a 13' or 4.00m 190. Of course, t...
