Whoah there

Ok ok ok. Lets clear this up. I can tell by the tape color that Lindsay is holding 11-6, since I switch tape colors at the foot marks on all of the club's poles. Lindsay opened the competition at 11-6 holding 11-6, so this must be her opening vault. For the 12-0 and higher bars, I had her raise her ...

Hey Guys, some insight this is.....
Mandy is a college athlete and yes it's still a good jump. And Lindsay Regan set the National Frosh HS Record last year. But there's a Fresh HS girls in OHIO that jumped 12-2.75 indoors, so Lindsay's record might go down.

Kush uses his front hand as the main hand he holds onto the pole with. When he plants the pole rotates through his back/top hand. We (verticalassault) like to have the vaulter use the front hand as the fulcrum and the hand the pole rotates in. Thus doing a 180 during the plant action.

I hope your joking. Last time I saw Miles it looked like he got the wrist thing changed. And I think it's an advantage to use your pole drop to increase your run speed and tempo, but you do what works for you.

yeah, that would be soft side up. I think Sky poles still put a sticker on their poles that say soft side. I know they use to.

Soft side up or down in your vault approach?

I was just looking at an old picture of Michelle Kirkado - Woodbury HS Central Valley, NY- from the 1999 Golden West Invite (winner at 12-9.5) and noticed she's holding the soft side down in her approach run?
