Duke has parallel runways and it is def big enough, personally i dont like the runways they are pretty slow to me!!!....But i hate the new system now after thinking about it and just wish it was like Inoodrs!!

For the pole vault the big things here are: Regionals will now have a qualifying round and finals like NCAAs do. Conference Champions will no longer automatically qualify. You prolly are one of the lucky ones that do have a coach was there for everything, but....... i know a lot of the schools either hire a volunteer vault coach, or a field event coach that was a decathlete. Ask how much hands on involvement the coaches will have with the vaulters. A lot of coaches will give you the lifting and running workouts and let you go at it, they barely watch. Dont take this personally, but you're going to be in college. A coach isnt going to hold your hand and baby you along. ...

we are here to talk about the number 1 vaulter next year in college. And based on the past will be somewhere around 5.60 if higher By the way to continue the topic.....I defnitely think this next yr will be back up to par as previous yrs where its going to take 5.65 maybe even higher to win NCAA's....

Well i figured we were talking about her outdoor PR which was 4m and compared that to her 2007 outdoor PR not indoors considering its an entire different season!!! I just took offense when u said i made up stats...but its all good glad we can come to an understanding!

Not to nit pick or diminish what Lawrence has done but Sallie had jumped 12'8". You are correct though about the improvements not showing in height. It was a pretty drastic change for most of the jumpers. Whatever....Listen the Stat say how high she jumped the yr before so i dont really care!!...
