i got on a new essx pole today, its 176 instead of the 170, it is really fun, i feel like i am in a catapult. my coach is gonna look around for a longer pole , but if he cant find one then i am just gonna buy one

it looks like he could ride the pole longer and lean his shoulders farther back and let them drop below his hips not just parallel

have you tried getting on a stiffer pole, it looked like the pole wasn't giving you what you needed, i am 5'9 i weigh 150 and i jump on an essx 176lb, work on speed and strength to get on a bigger pole

i did not have a pit at my high school for my first 2 years pole vaulting, so all i did was work on my run and plant, it really helped in that area, but.. if i could only get my rock-back right...

i dont know what its called, but have the kids hold the pole straight up and then grip as high as they can reach, and have them do a two step walk/run and plant the pole just like in the ground and swing through it, concentrate on driving the knee and keeping the trail leg long

have you jumed on th pacer carbon pole aswell, if so which do you perfer?

has any body jumped on an essx carbon pole? I am currently jumping 12 feet holding 13 on a regular essx, its a 170, but i only weigh 150. i think i might be blowing through it slightly, i want to move to a longer pole thanks
