I am curently on a 135lb. 12'4'' pole, and I was wondering if there is a carbon pole out there around 12'6'' and the same weight.

Also how can this affect my vault.

-more recoil?

Hey you guys wouldn't happen to know what a good height for girls would be? DI or DII schools. Some where in NC. I'm a junior and have got 11', but i am usually around 9'6'' or 10'.

Hey I finally got to watch it the other day. It was ausome. I am in FCA at our high school and we all got together and saw it.

Do a ton of core work. You can never do to much. Also do alot of pole runs. The more speed you can get in your run the better you will be.

There are two guys who do the same thing at my school. One of them is a pretty desent vaulter .It took some convinceing but he finally let me work with him on getting on up the pole. I told him to focus on trying to get sideways on the pole the keep pushing. He did short runs the next couple of days...

hey coach, I heard about the camp. One or two of our hurdlers are going to it. I am already signed up for a camp at Vault House this summer, so I probably can't go to both. I tore my hamstring a couple weeks ago so I have to be careful and not over do it.

Thanks for the advice. I have been working on my hang the last couple of days, and have been getting better penetration. Almost to much. Now I am not staying in my rock back long enough and getting shot foward instead of up.
