NYC vaulters?

Any collegiate vaulters in the NYC area? As of right now, I believe I'll be the only vaulter for NYU and was wondering if I could practice with other vaulters from other schools in NYC?
p.s. NYU practices are held up at the NY Armory in the Bronx.

When and why did they cancel the SRU camps? I've already sent out my deposit and application.

THe pole vault is all about conversation of energy. I believe strength can best be correlated with force. Force = mass x acceleration. and Potential Energy = Kinetic Energy or mgh = 1/2mv^2, the mass can be canceled out leaving the velocity as the only contributor to energy. Also in the force equati...

shortening your grip may also help to stop blocking out because it forces you to push both your arms upward rather than outwards.

I used to have a wide grip, but as soon as I shortened it, I had a better pole drop and I physically cannot lock out my bottom arm which allowed me to break it in and get closer to an invert position.
